30 hrs in Business Class :)

Jim and I made it to Cape Town after our respective marathon journeys from the West coast. (Luckily we both had business class tkts) More importantly, our bikes arrived as well. Here in Camp's Bay the wind has not stopped howling. Probably around 40mph. Imagine crystal blue waters surrounded by an imposing rock wall 3k ft high. Throw in some oceanside cafes & you have Camp's Bay. Despite the gusts, we still took a quick spin along the ocean. This was my first ride in about 3 wks due to some pesky knee pain. The knee feels alright and I jumped in the cold ocean to cool down the muscles post-ride. Not exactly the warm tranquil waters we were expecting. But the sunsets sure are nice at the bottom of the world.
